Sometimes a show is just the two of us having a conversation, but we also have guests on the shows from our hometown, Bangor, ME and from all throughout the USA. This is Don Hanson from the Green Acres Kennel Shop on Union Street in Bangor. During this time of year, I make an extra effort to give thanks for all that I have in my life. I am especially thankful for my family, my friends, my employees, our clients and my pets. Pets are a significant part of life for many of us, even more so for some of our seniors. In many cases, a pet may be the only living companion that a senior sees every day. I would like to ask you to help the seniors in Hancock, Penobscot, Piscataquis and Washington counties by donating to our annual fundraiser for the Eastern Area Agency on Aging Furry Friends Food Bank. One hundred percent of your donation will be used to purchase pet food that will be distributed to seniors having to choose between feeding themselves or their pets.
