I firmly believe that good nutrition is the foundation to good health. Carefully evaluating what we feed our pets is essential to their having a long and healthy life.
Being in the business for over 21 years, we know that not all pet foods are equal. From the day our Golden Retriever Tikken entered our home we were very particular about what we fed her.
By carefully reviewing ingredient labels, reading and researching pet foods and pet food companies, we always fed Tikken the best food that we were able to afford. As a result we had a happy healthy Golden Retriever for sixteen wonderful years. We continue that tradition with our dog Muppy and cats Thelma and Boomer.
The ingredients that go into a bag or can of pet food really do make a difference. Both cats and dogs are meat eaters and the first ingredient of any pet food should be a clearly identified meat source such as chicken, turkey, beef, duck, venison or even kangaroo.
